Refund policy

Returns

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for any reason.

Items must be returned in the condition you received them — unworn, with tags attached. Posterity ships vintage garments, which means each piece arrives with its history intact: the wear, the wash, the imperfections that made us want to archive it. Returns are evaluated against that delivered condition, not against new-garment standards.

We pay return shipping. Once your return is approved, we'll email you a prepaid shipping label.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of receiving the return. Original shipping costs are refunded along with the item.

Exchanges

Because every piece is one of one, we cannot exchange items. If you'd like a different piece, return the original for a refund and place a new order.

Final Sale

Items marked Final Sale at the time of purchase are not eligible for return.

How to start a return

Email hello@posterityclothing.us with your order number and the reason for the return. We'll respond within one business day with next steps.

Damaged in transit

If your order arrives damaged, email hello@posterityclothing.us within 7 days of delivery with photos. We'll make it right.
