About our products

Posterity sells curated vintage American t-shirts and related goods. Every garment is one of one — what you see is what you receive. Photos represent the actual piece you'll be sent.

Vintage means used. Each piece has been previously worn and may show signs of age, wear, fading, or imperfection consistent with its history. We document condition in detail on every product page. Buying vintage means accepting that history as part of the piece.

Pricing and availability

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change at any time. Because every item is one of one, an item shown as available may sell before your order is processed. In the rare event that happens, we'll refund you in full and email you immediately.

Orders and acceptance

Placing an order does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order — for example, if pricing was listed in error, if an item is no longer available, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel your order, we'll refund the full amount.

Intellectual property

Original photography, copy, and design on this site are the property of Posterity Clothing and may not be reproduced without permission. Trademarks and band names appearing on vintage garments belong to their respective owners; we do not claim affiliation with the artists, teams, or institutions whose merchandise we sell.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Posterity Clothing is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this site or its products.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.
